Is it easy to launch a kayak from a dock? And how about bringing it up from the dock? My OB is kind of heavy and I'd hate to roll it into the water when launching it LOL. I can't seem to find any youtube vids on this.
its easy launch at the marina, be early so you can see others where they launch, pay the $10 parking for the convenience..

I'll launch from the marina.  Santa Cruz is not my side of the bay so I'll follow this time.  I'll be there before 6.

Ok, so I'm thinking of meeting at Bayside at 04:30hr to wait for them to open at 05:00hr to buy a cup of coffee and parking permit and drive to the west side to launch...
What do you guys think?
