Idiot tweakers stole my truck but I got the last laugh!! Sameday Recovery!

So just yesterday, after running some errands me and my lady decided to stop by Howe Park here in Sacramento to see if they planted trout at the pond! I have never even been to this pond and park but we where right there, so we had to look. I park my truck in the parking lot and we walk to the pond to see if anyone is hooking up..We wrent even there for 5mins and walked back to find my F$%^ing truck GONE!! ...Me and my family in my old hood were always victims of theft but I have never had my own vehicle stolen! What a shitty disgusting feeling. ...Someone has just jacked me!! I was more worried about how the hell I was gonna get to work on monday then the theft itself!

After realizing I just been licked for my truck, I immediately call chp and make a report and call my buddy who lives down the street to pick us up. I told my buddy lets look around the local neighborhood for it, I just knew it was close! We drive down a few blocks with no luck and just decided to just go back to my house. My lady was getting real hungry and she had to leave to work around 3. My buddy drops us off and we get something to eat back at the pad. At this point, Im thinking worst case scenario cops wont find my truck before monday and I'll have to go thru the phone list to find somebody who's willing to loan me a car for a few days or so to get to work. Its 1:00pm, an hour or so has gone by since the robbery and I decide to take my lady's car to go and try to find my truck.

Where do you begin to look in a city as big as Sacramento??...You have to think like a criminal to catch a criminal, but in this case,I knew it was Tweakers who stoled my truck and Howe Park is loaded with them. So instinctively, I knew my truck had to be within 5 miles from the park. I decided to go down watt ave. and come in thru the opposite side or north side of Howe park and search that side of the neighborhood first. I make a left off of watt ave onto El Camino and drive not even a mile down looking down streets and Right away on the corner of Morse and El camino, BOOM, theres my truck! With the ladder Rack and tool chest already off!

Now my adrenaline gets pumping. I make a U-turn and turn onto morse and see 3 guys outside a duplex, one right by the truck spraying primer onto my logo stickers that are on my truck and the two others in side the garage. As I drive by, the guy near my truck looks at me but I make sure not to make eye contact and look suspicious, but notice my ladder rack and tool chest inside the open garage. Holy shitballs my heart is pumping now and know these guys are going down now! ..I drive 2 blocks up and turn on a side street, make a u-turn, and drive out just far enough to to see my truck and to keep an eye on it and get ready to give chase just in case. I park it, and immediately call chp. Apparently I'm over excited when I tell dispatch I've found my truck and the scumbags and the lady tells me to calm down! ..I calm down and tell her the exact where abouts where I'm at and where the truck is at and she says an officer is own the way. I'm pumped and stoked at this point. I call my lady and tell her the good news while keeping an eye out on my truck. Right then, I notice one of the scumbags getting into my truck and looking like he's about to take off! I tell my lady I have to go Im about to follow this guy! Right as I get off the phone with her, Chp calls me back, its an officer saying he's just about to be there. This is when it gets good:....As I'm on the phone with the officer, the guy takes off and is about to turn right onto El Camino, at the same time I see the chp/officer in the suicide lane about to turn onto Morse and I tell him, "Thats him, thats my truck right there at the corner and he's taking off." He replies, ok and makes a U-turn to follow the guy. I start the car to follow. As I'm driving by the house with my property in it, I notice the other guys walk out to the street to see if the chp pulled over the there tweaker buddy. U shouldve seen there faces then, they knew were done now!
To sum this whole story up,the officer pulls over tweaker 1, and I get my truck back. We then go back to the house and the officers arrest tweaker 2, but one guy gets away. I'll find and he'll get his later! I get my ladder rack and tool chest back and some of my speakers back, but still lost my Amplifier, 2 tweeters, 2 crossovers, my lucky mooch style camo fishing hat , and my snowboard jacket! Other tweaker must have gotten away with them!...So pretty much, I won getting my truck back and most of my tools and belongings but lost about $300 in property and some body damage to my truck. Motherf$^*ers! As I was leaving the house, I had to look at the two idiots in back seat of the cop car, I pointed to them and put a Big THUMB down while shaking my head at them! It was hilarious and I was laughing inside. Here's a few pics of the aftermath and damage to my truck!.: Lesson learned, dont ever F%&* with Fishworks!!!!!!!!

Man, don't know what to say Ricci.  Glad that with some good thinking, dirty work, and a little luck on your side, you got your ride back.

Yea they put them big dents in the truck i guess while trying to rip off the rack. These bastards had shaved keys to like 7 different makes of cars! I thought they simply just open my passenger door cause my lady left in open and hot wired or screw driver the ignition, nope they did this for a living! Cant give you the address tote, simply cause i wanna get them first..haaaaa..

Wow! What a story Ricci!  Pieces of sh&* got what they deserve.  I'm sure they had warrants and priors and probation violations etc.... probably be in county for awhile.  I hate tweakers with a passion, glad you got your rig back wth minimal damage.
