San Pablo Reservoir March 2nd

Launch from the rec area and troll north along the west shore up to the dam then east along the buoy line then concentrate on the east shore from the dam to scow with J7s. If no luck by 10, switch to SR5, JSR 5 and a crawler dodger on the downrigger. If no luck by 11, beach at north scow point or the east dam cove and fish power bait and spoons till noon then head in. Any thoughts? How is the water temp and clarity?

yes, that is the usual trolling route.......the HotSpot on sunday was:buoy line then concentrate on the east shore from the dam to scow. A powerB'r had 10 before lunch along that shore, no deeper than 20'. A small blade and worm was the ticket for his quick success.
Water Clarity= about 1.5'.....then after the rain falls all day weds, who knows, but at least it will be a high pressure day.

I have 2 yaks- one is a tandem, 2 pfd, 1 paddle. I can only transport 1 yak. 2 trout poles and some tackle.

I can carry 6 probably. Should have PFD's and paddles included. I could not reach my contact today. Will try in the morning again.

Waivers....  oh boy... yup litigious society were in and these waivers are probably not worth their weight in lead if need be, but all of us, including myself, have to sign a HOW waiver and a media waiver, unless your totally non ncka and do not want to be photographed 

then I'll get ya a special wrist band... anyway,  here are the 2 separate waivers, you can print and do this ahead of time or do it at the event. I'll have plenty of forms at the event and a couple of very intent volunteers that make sure everyone is signed in and waivers signed...

  So just print this up, Black and white is fine and show it to the kiosk when you arrive and then put it on the dash of your car to avoid those nasty tickets....

if you can't get this printed up or forget it, just say your with HOW and a volunteer,

come see me and I'll give you one for your car.....

To avoid Quagga Muscle inspection fees, we are going to be inspected by a Senior EBMUD Ranger....

Very Nice of them to do this for us and I'm figuring we will just stage our kayaks down by the gazebos by the lake and let her do her job...  I'm not sure she knows what she is in for, but gotta love the effort on their part.

 This is saving us $6 a yak....

you know what to do... no water in the hull or anything else!!!!

and if it doesn't pass no worries, we'll get by....

Add this for what I am bringing:
Food: 40 dogs and buns with fixins and chili
Fishing: 1 extra yak, paddle, PFD, paddle pants, booties, 2 rods and lures and worms

I will arrive before 7 am and do some recon till 9 am when the vets arrive. There is no finer mission than getting our heroes on fish so I will be bringing my A game. Lets do this!!!
