Add this for what I am bringing:
Food: 40 dogs and buns with fixins and chili
Fishing: 1 extra yak, paddle, PFD, paddle pants, booties, 2 rods and lures and worms

I will arrive before 7 am and do some recon till 9 am when the vets arrive. There is no finer mission than getting our heroes on fish so I will be bringing my A game. Lets do this!!!

If everyone could be sure to bring a little extra terminal tackle to set up for shore fishing...

  hooks, weights, chartreuse power bait , night crawlers

Has anyone tried chucking kastmasters or lil Cleo tword shore there? It works well at other lakes just curious..

I am going to set my vet up with a J7 fire tiger for trolling and a 1/4 oz fire tiger kastmaster for casting. Spoons and spinners have worked well for me shore fishing from the north bank of scow. I am going to start out with a small crank bait for casting because they are fun to fish with and I have never casted them for trout.

I'm bring two hobies,, three pfds, three two poles,  power bait, nightcrawlers, los of lures.  I bought
this stuff for Kelsey Ranch, but forgot it.

I guess I did not think of this earlier...

we just might catch some fish this time and they may want to take some home....

so I'll pick up some freezer bags, were going need ice too, I'll make a run in the morning to get some of that...

sure we'll need a bit more...I guess there is also the snack bar concession if we get desperate .

anyone have a better idea how to send fish home, let me know, they will be riding home on a bus

Are the vets easy to track down after the event? I could smoke a bunch and deliver after the weekend. Just a thought
