+10 to what the mods say...like mooch says "it may sound funny, but it's not" :smt011  I don't advocate driniking/kayaking/driving or running any type of equipment while under the influeness of any mind altering substances!!! IN a SPORT where just any little thing might mean survival... Drinking would just be stupid!!!

So don't let MY inappropreate words ruin welcoming Mule Mike to the community he's heard me talk about NCKA for yrs.........

were sitting here eating breakfast and he keeps say "arn't we supposed to be OTW by now" he really wants to hook a fish...he's coming from kayaking than learning to fish in fact the other day was his first exsperiance with a pole in his hand on a Yak fishing!!!!
It's all about Today!!! Because who knows what tomorrow will bring... so Better get OTW n GetSome

A bunch of Lilly-livered crybabies. Watch-out you don't spill milk in your new purse.  I highly recommend using alcohol while paddling. Just do it in moderation, listen to your intuition and use good judgement.

Being on the water sober is better. Its just more fun Jack Really . You should try it sometime. Its not a bad thing ya know. It has nothing to do with being a lilly livered crybaby at all. You know that, dont you Jack. It has to with being responsible and not sinking your kayakjack. Welcome to the site Mike. Im with you on the whole thing. Lets fish sometime dude.

Ok sledge and i didnt catch crap but like he said hes never fished the american river for salmon and its just a matter of getting the right set up going and learning what everyone is using tackle wise. But i guess i probably didnt help because although i have been kayaking for a little while i havent been fishing since i was 5.So he had a lot of patience my with 48 yr old a--  who didnt even know how to tie a hook. But thanks everyone on welcoming me to the sight and i look forward to meeting you guys.Hopefully i can make it up to bodega when you guys are there. Thanks aka Mulege Mike

Been doing it for almost 23 years Jack. I did it the other way for 21. I know. Ive been down the other road son. People can drink till their dicks fall off. I dont give a shit. I also dont want anyone to die because they are too loaded on the water. Whats wrong with that?   Sledge, I appreciate what you said about safety brother. I care about people Jack. That isnt being a pussy. Now smile and fish. In moderation of course. :smt006
