Anyway, I'll stay at the campsite just to socialize.  If you don't have room for my van I can park it at a pullout like I said. 

I don't really need a campsite. I just crash in my van at a pullout.

I'd like to try shooting a WSB there too.  The ones in that bay have probably never seen a diver before.  I'll need a bigger gun though...

I might bring my zodiac and save the carpal tunnel since this is out of the kayak tourney boundaries.  My dad might be down that weekend too.

i'm also very intersted in checking out the fish action down there; is anyone interested in car-pooling from Mountain View area?  My car can only hold 1 yak, but i have a tandem i could bring.

Has anyone in the group been there before Im looking for info on what type of bait and tackle to bring, is it rocky  or sandy shrimp or squid, maybee chovies or all, would it be worth bringing a crab pot or 2?


second anyone looking to carpool from far east bay(livermore) I have a pick up and I could build a rack to fit more than one yak or can I just hitch a ride.

I've never been there either, I thought about going down friday night. It looks like a 3 or more hr drive from Modesto.
