I logged over 10 miles straight paddling on the petaluma river today. Half of that was on the 4.7 and the other half on my scupper pro dual hatch with a rudder. The 4.7 really gives you a nice work out. Plus the fact that after 5 miles on it when you get on the scupper and paddle you realize just how fast this kayak is. Just paddling today was great. No worries about fish, gear, all that. Just focusing on the paddle stroke and time. Breaking up styles to work different groups and really concentrating on the blade entry and exit. Fantastic to just stay focused and get in the zone. With both kayaks in use and the time it took to change boats and re-park I think I was actually paddling around 2.5 hours.

Claveys had their day on the river today so I stopped and shot the breeze for a bit. All in all I think I was on the water around 3.5 hours maybe a little bit more. Next outing it will be all  about time, speed and distance. So next time I will have a more accurate report to give you about the session.

Thanks for sponsoring for this all of you. We just need a bit more to make the 1000.00 mark please help the guys. Thanks , Craig

If three people throw in 20 by 4am tomorrow, i'll match that with 60.  So, your 20 gets Craig 40.
