Baitman, what was I supposed to do with that round thing with a string sticking out marked "M-80"?

I want to start the race at 10:15am.  I will need to rinse off hopefully so as not to attract too many seagulls and what not. :smt006 :smt003 We will paddle from the beach to the red can and back to the beach. Then we will cut across the bay to join the major contingent of kayaks between the red can and the yellow can. Please be mindful not to hurt anyone while throwing stuff. No water ballons and no saltwater douches :smt003 One piece of bait per person please. We will be armed also. :smt006 :smt005 :smt044

Craig,
In the event you don't win, will the money collected still go towards PIF.
I ask because I got a chance to paddle the Raptor this weekend with Ricky (Paddle and Flies). This boat has very little drag and moves pretty good across the water. I did find some issues I would like to discuss with Jim, but overall I like what I saw. I would not want to race myself in this boat. It will come down to endurance and paddle technique - but I know for sure with me paddling both crafts I would have to say the Raptor is the faster of the two.
Not trying to discurage as I am still rooting for team O.K.
Good luck.

See Ya There,

The money sponsored is to be paid no matter what. If the Raptor can maintain 7 miles per hour for 3.5 miles more power to it Eric. The scupper pro has no equal on the water for SOT's except Terry on his T160. :smt006

I should rephrase that. The scupper pro has no equal on the water for a SOT fishing kayak. Racing hulls excluded. Terry on his T160 would blow me away.

So what time is "The Race" starting?  It seems to have changed a number of times today.
