Linelle had a scrambler for awhile. Until the day at Tomales Bay coming back from the oyster nets on an outgoing. We were on our scuppers and waited for her at least 5 times. I sold it under duress 2 days later. Bought her a Prijon Calabria and I was back in again just like that. :smt008

Art, can you make that fresh dead squid? I plan on flylining 2 rods on the way back. :smt003

OK now Jims had his fun. Lets move on. I would really like to present Big Jim and Porky and all those A- Hulls with a grand now. Is that too much to ask for? If that happens Art can throw anchovies at me at the turn. At the turn only though.............................now where in hell did I put that face shield? :smt003 Allen Im going to need you to super soak the anchovie paste off as I might get too close to the can. These guys look hungry at the turn!

I'll sponsor both of you guys with $20 each if you add an "obstacle" as part of the race.  When you reach the red can, you must bail into the water, and then do a reentry.

Actually self rescue, drink 5 shots of tequila, catch a legal ling, survive the water balloon and frozen chovy gauntlet and then paddle in. That would be a NCKA challenge.  :smt044

Now wait a minute...     He's already got an edge with a  faster kayak...   and now you want me to fill mine with seawater , knowing I'd have to pump it out...   it's not a fair fight..  :smt010 :smt010 :smt010

What do the judges say ?

Can I  cheat and use my Torqeedo  ? :smt003 :smt003

I don't think it looks like bailing off and getting back in should require any pumping??

Cool looking boat....looking forward to checking it out!!

Jim

LOL Craig you're crazy---you need a different kind of sponsor ...like "Hi, my name is Craig and I'm addicted to yakfishing"  :smt005

Pat, that would be me.....but we try to stay anonymous, so don't tell anyone.

Craig, I'm in for $40 and I know some other guys said they were in for double as well...you should update your list with amounts next to each name!

I think you are a lot closer to $1000 than you think!!  :smt007 :smt007

If you need any help collecting $$ on the day of the event I would be glad to help out...

Yeah, I think I have $20 for each of you and Jim.  And another $20 going to Art to throw anchovies at you, which he said he'll give to the pot as well.  So sounds like I'm down for $60.  If you want, you can ask the peeps to donate to the MLPA Paypal link on the front page with a note in the donation that it is for the Ravensblack Raptor Challenge.

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.
