What can I say but WOW :smt005
First I would like to thank all those who made the treck - Without you this could not happen.
Next I would like the sponsors - They are the heart and soul that keeps it going.
It's been a long drive so for now I will let a few pictures do the talking :smt006

Thanks to Eric/Yakhopper, Fisherman's Warehouse, and the other sponsors for hosting another great event.  We really appreciate the time and effort you put into these events Eric.

Drove up Saturday AM and fished with Craig, Jim and Allen, headed over to Edgewater late Sat to hook-up with everyone.  Wind was up on Sat.  Sunday was sunny, warm and windless.  The Lady was giving this weekend - a number of quality fish on both days topped by a 24.5" fish on Sunday. Thanks Dave and Richard for snapping some pics.  It was a great day OTW and alot of fun with the NCKA crew. Edgewater worked out well with a nice beach for launching and hanging, and alot of fishing options within range. As always, good to see all the NCKA buds.

Thanks for another great Event!  Myself and the crew I brought with me had a great time.  Thien might soon be addicted, just need to get him on a 20"+ fish and it will be a done deal  :smt004

I fished in what I grew up fishing, flooded timber!  as a kid, my dad and I would cannoe through thousands of acres of flooded timber in Missouri catching bass, 'gills, catfish and crappie.

Awesome day!

Congrats John! I knew I missed an epic day OTW. What was the method of catch that produced best for you? Looks like it was a great day to catch some nice fish.

Eric you really pulled off a great event.  The weather cooperated (I think Darius had some pull with the MAN upstairs). The NCKA brotherhood took the lake by storm!  Great times around the campfire and on the water.  Thanks to Fisherman's Warehouse, Hook 1, and all the sponsors.  Looking forward to the next event.---Jeff Smith

Great times hanging out with old and new friends.  I got to camp around 8:30 on Friday night, earlier than expected (first time ever). Was greated by Hobie Dave as I fumbled around in the dark. Setup camp and joined the party around the campfire.
Saturday morning rolled around and I got out to a lazy morning on the water. Drug live crawdads and flipped rattle traps for a couple hours for nothing. As the day went by my wonderful camping neighborhood got some wild neighbors with Allen taking up one side and Naoki/Ashley on the otherside. The kegs got tapped and food was cooked. Great time around the camp. Roasted Peeps and marshmellows with pineapple around the campfire.

Sunday morning- Game Day: Tried hard to sleep through the raccoon like noise outside my tent but finally I couldn't take the noise anymore. I emerged from my tent at 6:45AM, stumbled to the keg half asleep and made a cup of beer and pineapple juice, grabbed a bagle, bottle of water and a soda. Signed the waiver with Eric and jumped in the kayak waiting for me on the beach. First on the water (first time ever). Paddled hard to be the first to fish State Park. Drifted a minnow and threw wiggle warts and rattle traps. Spent the rest of the day fishing back towards the launch. Had two fish on which was better than some but I sadly farmed them both. My fishing skills have gotten a bit rusty. Had a good time chatting with everyone at the BBQ and awards. I walked away with one of the hourly prize baggies.

A very big thank you to Eric and Fisherman's Wharehouse and the many sponsors that made this possible. Look forward to many more hookups this year.
