Big thanks to Eric and FW for giving us the event. The weather was great. The Edgewater really shone as the best place I can think of to launch and party afterwards. Seeing all the kayaks lined up at the beach when the sun was out was a great indicator of our spring thats really here this time. I hope. John really put on his game all weekend. I got schooled Saturday and Sunday by the man. Lesson: adapt and change tactics or SUCK. hahahaha.  John and myself traded good days with each other all last year and we are still doing it. I cant think of a better man to get the big bass than you buddy. To all that were there a big congrats to to really pump Erics event up. Believe me , when people show up to an event that you try hard to make successful, its a real joy. Congrats to Jeff and the forever present Patrick. Again showing that it aint over till its over. Good to see you HT and when I take that thing surfing I will call you for sure. Thanks again Eric. Oh yea, on Saturday this guy comes sailing by. I guess the fishing was slow for him too. So he found another way to bring on the endorphins. hahahaha. Love ya Allen.

Congrats John! I knew I missed an epic day OTW. What was the method of catch that produced best for you? Looks like it was a great day to catch some nice fish.
Later
Jimbo

Jimbo - minnows and plastics targeting bass staging in 8-15 ft of water. Ended-up going with straight minnows.  The cold front on Thur/Fri slowed the bite and had to go low and slow to get bit, fish seemed to be starting to get more aggressive on Sunday as it warmed back up.  Probably on fire today with another warm day.

The event was spectacular, Pam and I were thrilled with absolutely everything. Our house-guest Jed was low maintenance and always polite, awesome guy who's fun to hang with. The NCKA folks are such a good group of drinkers and fishers. That trophy John caught must be the largest in the pond. I'm glad Richard got the good shots, my camera battery was low and my only picture doesn't do that fish justice. In comparison, my personal best I caught there was just a minnow. Eric thanks for putting on the show, we all appreciate what you do. Edgewater runs a top shelf resort, We'll be back.

Thanks Eric and FW for a great day . Fun seeing Rockroach land his first legal bass. Just enjoyed being on the water and spending it with my son.

What fun it was over the weekend hanging out with a whole bunch of super cool
folks. Thanks again Eric for all the many hours you've spent to make this happen
for all of us to enjoy. Big congrats to John(Bird) on taking first place and to all that
had caught fish. Saturday was tough fishing toward the after noon when the wind
picked up. Sure glad the Sunday weather was totally opposite of the day before.
Nice flat calm water all day long. Thanks once again Dave and Pam for the warm
and cozy bed you had let me stayed during the cold windy nights. I can't wait for
the next get together and hang and fish with all of you again.

Thanks Eric and all the sponsors.  The closest thing to a fish I got to was taking a picture of Bird's Hog.  Great job and thanks for the minnow.
