Your 2011 AOTY Committee

Usually held on a Saturday when I have to work  .

In 2010 I had a lot of fun with the AOTY and wish I could have had more time to see what I really could have done. Over all I fished 14 days from the kayak, Topped the list for 2 species (1 with my second largest fish)and ended 11th place over all. I don't care if there is a prize for this s@#t or not - I love this stuff and will be sure to enter again for 2011 as soon as I catch up on some other things.

In the beginning of 2010 I made a promise that I would have a special prize for anyone who fished the same amount of days or less than I did and came in equal or higher place than me.
If you have accomplished this please let me know as i will be glad to keep up my end of the deal.

I got my hawg trough and goody bag about  4 years ago when I first joined the AOTY.  I think it's base on limited supply so if you joined later they might ran out the hawg trough (or ChuckE doesn't like you  j/k), but goody bags are always given out every year.

If you  don't plan on attending, you can probably ask someone to hold on to one for you to give to you later. 

All I know is last year 2010 WindToys kicked a bunch of Hobie soft-side cooler bags that were only available if you had paid for 2010 AOTY & you attended the AOTY ceremony for the 2009 winners and picked yours up or had someone grab yours for you. There was also a bag of 4 swimbaits that a local tackle shop donated. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the tackle shop.....mostly cause it was an East Bay shop and I don't live there.
What's gonna happen for 2011?.....I have no idea. jim
