Introducing your 2011 AOTY Committee.  The general charter of the committee is to address/clarify any issues related to the 2011 AOTY.  They will also get to decide on any changes for the 2012 AOTY.  All committee decision are final.

AOTY rule #1 states:

1. All fish entered must be caught from a kayak, without the aid of a powerboat and using methods deemed legal by the California Department of Fish and Game.

What if the rod was in the rod holder on the kayak and I was outside of it .... cranking the reel while the rod stayed in the boat?

If I catch a fish in Cali this year all'yalls better watch out!! =)
