Under or over moderation - what is preferrable

I'm not sure what's up, but what's with all the rather general posts (Shark siting in Linda Mar, World Record Ab, Photoshopped Whale) being moved to Fish Talk and or other forums. Seriously, just because there's some content referring to an aquatic life form, means that the post has to be shuffled off to Fish Talk?

No other forum I participate on has anywhere near this level of moderation. I can't think it's a good thing, but would like to know if I'm being overly sensitive.

Nothing personal, just my 2cents....

I personally don't even notice it, and if I do, I don't give it much thought. But that just me. I think for the guys running the site, it is their system of organization that works for them, so it works for me.

I think if I didn't have to read the 'Moved' thread, and it was just silently put in the right place, I wouldn't care at all. Otherwise I get sucked into the "why was this moved" sort of mentality.

Personally what I really think we need here is a female moderator to balance out the mix

Ahhh, the old over-under. Always bet the under this early in the season because defenses are usually a few steps ahead of offenses. Plus, it's more likely that a team's productivity trends downward the year following a productive offensive showing. EDIT: I can't think of anything funny to say. Wait, what are we talking about?
