I'm still planning to go, but the Mrs+1 are questionable. Gotta get my freshwater gear ready!

can't believe they are predicting rain this weekend :smt011 Go figure  :smt009

Anyway, bring a tarp and some rope as we may have to build a tarp city ONCE AGAIN. If you can bring an E-Z the better. Bring your rain gear!

*For those who are coming on Friday, the gates to the park will open at 6AM and will close at 8PM.

*In case of emergency dial 911 from a pay phone or (510) 881-1121 on a cell phone = cell phone reception may be spotty inside the park.

* we need to bring our own firewood. Running water is available. Two chemical toilets and picnic tables available.

* I will have my VHF radio on me = channel 69 in case you need any type of assistance. I will be there Frirday morning - around 10AM.

* Hetch Hetchy is a walk in / boat in group camp site o the East side of the park, on the lake, one mile walk North of the Marina.

* Directions from Hwy 580: Exit N. Livemore, drive South (thru town) until it becomes Tesla Rd. Next right on Mines Rd. Veer right on Del Valle Rd.

* bring flash light or headlamps - lot's of gopher holes in the area.

* parking for us will be anywhere across the bait / tackle shop - right by the bathrooms and cleaning station. Just do not park on the boat trailers spots please.

**For those who are coming on Friday, the gates to the park will open at 6AM and will close at 8PM.**

Mooch,
Does that mean that day only visitors have to get out of the park by 8pm or is that only for people entering?  I don't plan to camp. Just want to chill with you guys on Friday.  I'm bringing chicken/pork adobo.  What time is potluck on Friday dinner?

I get cranky when I don't have my rice for dinner. :smt005 :smt005

It won't be the same without Troy.

I'll be there as early as I can manage Friday, (have a gig Thursday, so maybe Noon if I'm lucky).

Looking forward to yet another spectacular display of the fury mother nature can dish out.  BRING IT ON!!!!

yes, you will be locked in by 8PM.

We can do the dinner potluk at 6PM or earlier.....

* Parking pass: Friday morning, I will leave 7 free parking passes at the front gate entrance. Just ask the attendant about the free parking pass for the Hetch Hetchy group camp site under "Joel Lotilla".
The rest of you will have to pay the overnight parking fee....which I still need to find out...stand by

Anyone who is not intending on sleeping over but still wants to chill after 8PM better get they a$$ out the park before the Ranger locks it up.  I found out the hard way.   :smt005  You can probably park your car outside the gate after normal business hours, but i may be wrong.

Hopefully the phrase "ramming speed" will never be uttered again at Lake Del Valle . . . :smt011
