Count me in bother Eric!

If I'm not there Friday, I'll definitely be showing up early Saturday.

I'm trying to recruit another but as of now, it's just me and the old boss.

We have a place to stay in Twain Harte, so were good to go!

PS, we will probably go stream fishing at a spot on the Stanislaus river on Saturday if anyone wants to join!!

Also, Eric, Beardsley Afterbay is off limits right?  :smt004

Just spoke with the ranger station and apparently all of the designated campsites are across the dam opposite the launch ramp.  I was kind of hoping there were a few near the launch ramp and day recreation area.  She also stated that the lake is full, which is good and bad.  Good for those that are camping because it is just a short trek down to the water.  Bad because the ramp is IN the water which means there will be lake lice. :smt011   Such is life.

Headed up to the lake on Mon. and you are correct the lake is full but not too much lake lice (although it was a Monday).

Just a warning - Wind picks up around noon and blows to the East.
I was in a Pb but it could make for a tough paddle if you are in the river too late.

Also spoke with a couple guides in the area and they suggest fishing tight to the walls at either end of the lake - they say the middle of the lake doesn't produce nearly as well.
Best lures would be Uncle Larry's (or similar) spinners in green or pink or Wholly Buggers in Black and Olive (guides suggested running without flashers or dodgers).
You'll have to figure the rest out on your own - Can't give it all away :smt003
Hope this helps any anglers joining us.

See Ya There,
Eric / Yakhopper

Tiny,
This Resavour has very steep walls - all will work but leadcore might be your best bet to avoid catching rocks :smt002

OK - that was the last tip I can give  :smt005

Good Luck

i will probably be bringing a downrigger like usual.

recent report from pinecrest sports

http://www.pinecrestsportshop.com/Fishing%20Reports.htm

Beardsley Reservoir

Trolling still doing great.  Lead core set-ups down five colors with blades using crawlers, the Assassin or Needlefish.

Shore fishing has done ok.  Use power bait.

After-bay has been excellent.  Remember, different regulations here.  Fly-fishing has done really well.
