Sea Sniper is hosting a diving/spearfishing Swap Meet on Saturday, March 13. Extending an open invitation to everyone who wishes to attend/participate!

Bring all your extra diving crap and sell it... so you can buy someone else's extra crap!  :smt044

Already have a bunch of locals and a few socal people committed to attending. Should be a lot of fun & the more the merrier!
Bring lots of cash...  :smt004

Location:
Sea Sniper
1054 Terminal Way
San Carlos, CA 94070

Date/Time:
Saturday, March 13
10am - 5pm

I'll be selling off a bunch of gear as part of my 12-step program from:
http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,22548

Personally, I'll have about 30 spearguns for sale, 6-8 wetsuits, half a dozen fins, fishbags, floats, UW cameras/housings, some shafts, reels, etc.

Dennis Haussler (national champion) will be there peddling his wares - several spearguns betwen 90-140cm, a fishbag, lots of shafts, masks, floatlines, 5-prongs, etc.

A lot of other goodies for sale from other participants that I'm not sure if I'm allowed to disclose. Will update this as I confirm.

*** 5% donation to the house (SeaSniper), which is well worth it IMO for not having to take pics, write descriptions, post, deal with emails, pack the stuff, and ship. ***

Yup, confirmed that earlier as well...  :smt009
Thought about changing it, but some socal people have already made travel arrangements.

I figure most NCKA'ers wll be at the AOTY, but a few may make it over before/after/etc.   :smt001

(As for the suits, I think I have two 3mm picassos & a 3mm oceanos for sale - what size were you for the Yazbeck?)

Hey fuzz I am a newb to spearing and am looking for a band gun for our local waters. Let me know if you have anything that may fit the bill. I also need a weight belt (no weights just the belt)

Let me know.

Lots of guns available.  :)

As for the weight belt - do you want a standard nylon one or a fancy rubber one?
Nylon - works fine, cheap, very durable.
Rubber - works a bit better, more expensive, moderate durability

I have a Sea Hornet and the bands need to be replaced.  Do you have spare tubing/bands for it?

Yup.  I have some band material that I could sell you for pretty cheap.  Do you know how to tie your own bands?

Its a 54 Fuzz and it fits like a glove. OK, a little tight glove. About 5-7 pounds off this old lard ass should do it. No more soda and twinkies. :smt044

Haven't done it before but it doesn't lookj too hard if I got yhe right tools/materials.  Let me know the price and I'll buy them from you at the AOTY  meeting or swap meet.

I think they must be ironing out some details - both chuck & bill confirmed it.
