So what would you want it to smell like? Chicken?  :smt003

assuming you thoroughly laundered it with detergent?  Then airdry, and spray Fabreze?  Otherwise, suggest going with something mildly acidic after washing, as opposed to reliance on bleach (HClO-).

I've done mine that way on occasion, gentle cycle.  I flip it inside out.  But it will eventually fissure the seams, fraying the threads.  Also, you don't want to do this for higher grade Neoprenes like Yamamoto 39, the stuff is just too supple with the seams usually glued, taped, and blind stitched.  I would never tumble one of my speedsuits for that reason.

Seriously, you should try the fish soap.  It works for me!

washign machine, gentle cycle, detergent and lots of water,do the trick, soak cycle helps too...

Hand dry, constantly flipping inside out, then back again to be sure no mildew sets in... works perfect. I was it every other time now.

I dont use the washing machine. Use one of your ice chests and fill it with hot water and some laundry soap and just let it soak overnight. Rinse it well and line dry inside and out.
