Stump beach launch and into no mans land Sunday the 11th

You are right! I have been diving there for over 20 years. This is more about a paddle up across Fisk Mill and into Horseshoe. Kind of touring and fishing. If people want to just dive for abalone you can go to Horseshoe and go down the cliff or wait untilo we get back to Stump and then its a short paddle out mto the end of the cove and dive the south or north side.

Me too, son's b-day party Sat and redwood widow-maker clean up Sunday from the last two weeks of wind before first rain. Been wanting to go on an RB outing since meeting last year at Clavey's steelhead seminar....

 I will be at Ocean Cove Thursday, fri, sat sun and maybe mon. Tuesday looks like rain! Look  for older Malotte, red and white, tent camping. Ab diving in the am yak fishing till the wind picks up. Last time we SLAUGHTERED the vermillion and had BIG abs ! Lookin' for that 10 incher ,,, only 3 tags left . Look for Brian and Terry

S winds 5 to 15 kt. Wind waves 3 ft...becoming 2 ft or less. NW swell 3 to 5 ft. Patchy fog.

Right along that little cove I see a big fat 10" ab , I fished here not too long ago and had a great bite. It really drops off deep right in front of Horseshoe Point. Can't wait I'll be there on kayak or zodiak not sure yet. See ya on the water.

I have dove that little cove when the whole ocean was blown out. Big swell, big wind. Calm in that cove you can see behind the big rock. Average abalone thougfh. Nothing big, but hey, it was the only going that day. Almost 80ft right out in front

Yea it probably only has average ones inside that cove but hopefully it will be flat enough to dive along the front there. That could be ticket!
