Noob here.  This sounds great.  Thanks for the invite to all.  I'll probably join up at the Ocean Cove campground Saturday night.

Tigerfish, do you still expect to have room at your site?

David, we are going to have a gas. It would be cool to see 30 kayaks making north at the same time and sweeping the coastline looking for nice fish. I normally wouldnt be so willing to see a lot of limits taken but this could be the last time we will fish this area forever.

I am bummed to not make it. Good luck with some heavy stringers and dinner plate abs.
Maybe the weather gods will be nice and give me one day in November.

I'll be at Ocean Cove campground, it doesn't have assigned spots so it is a free for all(still $19 a night per vehicle). Lots of space feel free to stop on by.

how well marked is the turnoff into the stump parking lot?   Never been there and its probably still going to be dark at that time.

Once you pass the entrance to Salt Point go north about 2 miles/ After going across a flat you will go down into a sharp turn and when you come up after the turn you will see the sign on the road Stump Beach on the right. If you get to Fisk Mill cove parking area you have gone too far. I will try and be there extra early and have my headlights on facing the road.
