Local dude comes back for more. Awesome. See you Sunday am. Plan for a 7:15 -7:30 launch as its still a bit too dark at 6:30. I think its around 20 so far. EPIC PADDLE AND FISH! Maybe the last chance for this area. Come on and enjoy. What time should we fish till? So we can come back and talk about the fishing andmwhat a great year this has been so far. If everyone brings just a little something without going overboard we can all enjoy great brotherhood and life.

A sea of bright and colorful kayaks heading into and fishing a future MLPA zone would be awesome. There is no limit here to the number of kayaks on the water Sunday. The more kayks the bigger the  statement of how upset we are to lose our fishing and diving priviledges in this pristine and beautiful area.

I am planning to join the fun on Sunday. Our offshore tuna trip just got cancelled due to rough condition offshore. I heard a lot of good fishing/diving report about this area. I won't missed this oppurtunity before they close this area completely. Got room for 1 more yak if anyone needs a ride up there on Sunday. See you all on Sunday morning.

Ok. It looks like there is going to be a whole bunch of us there. I want everyone to know that at Stump Beach it is a sandy beach launch. The swell should be down so I dont think its going to be a big problem. There are a set of stairs that the kayaks have to be carried down. Approximately 30 large steps so we are going to need to find partners to accomplish this. After we are down at the beach its a short roll or carry to the water.

It seems that there are some rather new people coming and I want you to know you are welcome. We were all new at one point or the other and either we had help or learned the hard way by ourselves. We are all teachers and we are all students. Having said this I would reccommend that people who are rather fresh in the ocean to grab someone and stick with them. We are more than likely not going to stay in a group so please find a buddy to hang with.

We will be launching at 7:30. Give yourself plenty of time to prepare so we can all go at the same time. Huge photo op here and it would be off the hook to get all of us save one into the frame.

It will be a 2-3 mile pddle from the launch to the most north point if we stop at Horseshoe Point. There is  a huge anount of structure and fishing area between there and the launch at Stump. I want to get out to around the 100ft mark to see whats out there as I have never fished that deep in this area. So be prepared to paddle something like 5-8 miles depending on where you fish and how far out you go. We will have a brief safety meeting and before launching and all are invited to chime in.

We should be off the water by 1pm or whatever you guys feel like. I am just thinking some have a far ways to get back home and if we want to spend some time on the beach talking and eating it will give us the time to do that.

Nothing is in stone here. Its your guys trip as much as mine. We should all have a great time and catch some nice fish hopefully. Cant promise that but it looks good.

I will fishing north of Gualala on Saturday so see you all on Sunday. Craig

Thanks for the heads up Craig.

I'm stoked about Sunday. Perfectly happy with just fishing, but I would really like to do some ab dive early in the morning before the swell kicks up, either at the Horseshoe or Fisk Mill. I'm a noob and can't dive deep. If someone is willing to pair up with me or just show me the way, I'd appreciate it deeply. Having heard so much about these prime dive spots I just can't pass up the opportunity. It's likely that's gonna be my last and only chance to dive there legally.
