The shadows lay differently on the ground, the days are shorter, leaves and fish are turning color. Spend the day fishing, going through the motions, eating smoked fish for sustenance. Coronas on the tailgate. It really is hard to come back home.
A fair amount of damn moss on the hooks. I got tired of that.
I tried a new set up, rod/reel/line-wise, and it worked like a champ.
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.

Beautiful Juan - congrats!

I love the Fall too.  Softer light. Cirrus clouds above as the air cools. Birds and fish on the move. Just something that feels deep and right.
