Sorry I will going to miss you at Davenport, I really wanna go. if the weather move favorable to us, then count me in, I am 75% for now!

I know a lot of guys are concerned about the WX but it doesnt look that bad.  In a worst case scenario, you show up, look at the water and say, NO WAY.  You then surf fish.  Lots of big fish live in really shallow water. 

I cant tell you the number of times I bailed on a Big Blue hookup because of the WX and then see pics of a flat water, productive trip.  Roll the dice guys!  Then again, if less of you show up, that ups my odds.....

Big surf warning, wind advisory, shark/jellyfish/Nessie/60's hippie remnant sitings, air pollution, chromium 6, stay away

And it looks pretty good.
Sunday:  NW wind around 9 kt becoming W in the afternoon. Patchy fog before 11am. WNW swell 4 feet becoming 7 feet. Wind waves around 2 ft.

same ole' story...never know until you see it.

It does look much improved over earlier in the week. Just looking over the water on the way in to work today, it was looking good.

We can always make excuses.

I have put on these events for you and the good of kayaking.
Stay home if you must but don't let the weather be the reason as this spot is always launchable and there will be great company.

Looks totally doable. But everyone please stay home. I could use a new rod!

I am in, and totally looking forward to this -  except that i have to leave around noon and will miss the festivities (and my grand prize).  Yakhopper - thanks for organizing.  I'll PM you with my details.

Eric, looks like I am in although I won't be fishing.  I'll have my daughter tagging along and we'll be on the beach or surrounding areas collecting trash.  Probably will there shortly after 8am.
