For those who may not have understood me I will explain.
We will have the gathering on Sunday at S.C. Harbor instead of Davenport.
I will also host a gathering on August 30th (Fire's allowing) so others can particapate without having to worry about mother nature's issues. (also lets me fish the coast another day  :smt003 )
See you all on Sat. or Sun.,
Eric
Eric, will it count as one or two events? Since the FW prize is based on number of events you go to, should this be a split between both days(either date, one entry), or separate events (more entries)?  I think I have something scheduled for the 30th, but if not I know ill be there ;)

RE: parking fees in SC Harbor.
Can't you purchase an all-day prkng permit from Bayside Marine for like 5 bucks? (instead of feeding a meter)

You can indeed!  Goto the harbor bait shop to pickup a parking pass, its on the main side of the harbor close to the second driveway.

Both event's will count for the tickets for the Trident 13.
However I don't know how many raffle prizes I will have for the hourly drawing at Davenport but will do my best.
These events were started so we can have fun so why not have more fun (extra day/event)
See you in Monterey Bay,
Eric

In case you want to buy a parking permit, Bayside Marine is between # 7 and 8 on this map: http://www.santacruzharbor.org/maps/bus_map.html

its over a 3 hour drive for me to head out. anyways glad to see that i will be able to make this one - there would be no way for me to make the other one since i am going out of town for three weeks right after sunday's event.

wait, how do you fit all that luggage on a hobie sport?
its a tight fit but that little hobie can do it!!  actually i'm taking my trident so it has twice the storage capacity!

thanks for letting me know about the parking permit, i will go pick one up from bayside on sun morning.

Excellent solution, Eric.  The best of both worlds.  It's probably a ton of extra work for you.  Thanks.  Good luck fishing this weekend.  I'll see if Aug. 30th will work for me.
