Possibly fishing on thursday Oct 13 depending on weather.  How does this work for you?

I'm just waiting for a weekend with less than 10ft seas to do it on.  There's some abs down there with my name on them too.  :smt003

I'm probably down for either the 22nd or 29th... maybe Wednesday the 19th too... we'll see.

Definitely need to get out a couple more times this season..

There's a good chance I may join you. Along with the fishing, I am interested in getting some abs as well.

If the weather cooperates I'm definitely down for one of those week-end dates.

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Matt, I'm just curious.... what kind of line did you switch to?
Did you stick with mono or are you trying spectra?

Spectra will give you the thin diameter and reel capacity of 6lb test mono which is great for deep rockfishing or trolling.  You can't beat the sensitivity either.

I would like to fish that area on these weekends.  I would prefer to hit salt point though.  Lets hope the marine forecast improves.  I couldn't be happier after switching to spectra myself.  It may be more expensive but it seems to last forever.  I really like the thinner diameter, it seems to cut through the water much better.  The sensitivity is unreal, I can feel every little bump.

I'm 70-30 in favor of going.  :smt003

Barring any last minute GFD (girlfriend disapproval), or adverse weather/surf conditions I'm in for Ft. Ross or Stillwater on Saturday the 22nd.

My mom is visiting my sister in folsom that weekend, but I may be able to get away for a day-trip.  I've got alot of punches left, so I'll probably make a run every favorable weekend until the season closes.
