Dale and I hooked-up last night for Ab diving around the Salt Point area.  The ocean was flat that you could have dive anywhere along the Sonoma coast today and the visibility was great (20+ft).  I'll let the pictures tell the story:

We stopped and checked out several spots

We both got our limit and the Ab were all fat

My limit

On the way back, we saw cows on the road, a wild Turkey, and gray Fox

Sorry no picture for the Turkey & Fox since I'm not quick enough  :smt003

Thanks Eric.  Wish I brought the UW camera and took the pictures of the fishes in the kelp forest.  Did not expect the viz to be that great.  Dale & I should buy lottos this week  :smt003

Sonny, what a great day on the water. You guys had a real treat. You don't get that all the time and I am sure that you know that. Great pics as always. WTG! Sonny and Dale.

I'm looking forward to the trip at Horseshoe in June.  Should I start a count down?  :smt003

I am going to monitor the weather and when it looks good it will be on. We want a real nice ocean so we are going to not plan way in advance. Maybe a weeks notice. Craig. Sorry about the thread jack I am out.

Great pictures.
See any fish?

Thanks.  Saw lots of fishes in the kelp and a few undersized Lings.  I got my spear pole with me but it's such a nice day to spill blood so I spared (not speared) them  :smt003

The pics tell it all, never seen it quite like that at Horseshoe, notice the almost complete lack of white water, 12 inch surf did make entry and exit a bit of a chore, It was good to meet Sonny and dive with someone new, most of my old dive buddies are just giving it up, I'm not ready by a long shot.

Spectacular day

It's my pleasure to meet and dive with you Dale.  If you need a dive partner in future dives please give me a call and thank you for the ride.

Just pressure cook 1 whole Ab for dinner and it's soooooo delicious (hard to beat fresh seafood)  :smt001

If you want my wife's recipe let me know...
