Don Anglin (who does not state his weight or his goal) thinks this is going to be interesting..........

Mooch says he's down from 240 to 230...but that's all Mooch says.

Yackhopper says he's gone out and bought a scale, but has not confided to us how much he, or the scale, weighs....

Jedmo says that his goal is to lose 17 pounds...BY LATE NEXT NOVEMBER...!!!...

Dave W says he's pointed to 170 but won't disclose where he's coming from.

All the other posters are playing their cards even closer....like, they won't show their UP card, they won't show their HOLE card, they won't show nuth'in.

Based on what's showing, if I were the Chief Executive of OCEAN KAYAK CORP., I'd design a new line of larger boats..........

They are all posting in the appropriate new place...unlike you.  Do you even own a kayak or fish, or just lurk here as a place to cause crap.  I look forward to you posting a fishing report.

hmmm, actual committment?  I consider myself a calorie supertanker, "you thin suckers are gonna regret it when the famine starts."  But then again it doesnt do too much good to be dead by the time the famine arrives. :smt044

I better dig up a scale.

At least Sky wasn't boring (cut n paste, cut n paste) and posted pretty pictures.
Maybe Judd got confused and thought this thread was about reducing the length of his posts. :smt003

I won't be joining BLOTY, but i DO have a health and fitness goal (actually need to gain back some weight, DOH).  So I applaud all of you who want to buddy up and be virtual weightloss partners.

While posting here may not be of the same efficacy as meeting in person at the track 3x week, its good moral support.  And if everyone gets just that little bit healthier, then the whole club will wins, as we can extend our range, fish longer hours, and be less injury prone, thereby bringing home more fish!  I'm cheering for y'all.

I didn't see it coming either.
Still don't.

There are always pissants.
What they think.....
What they say...........:smt001 :smt002 :smt001 :smt002 :smt001

We are here, as boaters, because we are that.
Didn't occur to me there should be a greater expectation.
Still doesn't.
If someone has a wider more demanding expectation...???....
Why fine, he and his clique can float any way they please.

Clique people....swell...
Solo people....swell.......

Yagottaproblem?

The "we" in this statement confuses me.
I understand that intent can be easily misinterpreted in text but...
It seems clear that you are picking up a stick and poking at folks that have decided to pledge to be healthier this year and  just gathering some NCKA inspiration.
On top of that you pick out 5 of these folks, who all actually contribute positively to the NCKA both on and off the water.
This is not the first stick youve picked up here.
Some of us actually have taken too much time to read your rantings out of mild amusement, but for you to use the word "we" like you have done anything but alienate yourself in this community is almost disturbing.
Try to understand that folks have been sharing here a long time on this online sanctuary and it is very dear to some. To intentionally act as a voice of desent and then be offended/surprised when someone fires back? You may have spent too much time in Berkeley.
If you are in fact a paddler/angler my perception is that youve been off the water far too long.
So heres your invite.
If you make the trip up here to lake county It would be my pleasure (maybe) to take you fishing.

1) There is no stick....never has been.
2) I've not met you, but I consider you friends.
3) Afterall, WE are fishers, shooters & boaters.
4) Unless you're on the water weekly......you're behind me.

You're right....words can be mis-interpreted.
It's maybe tricky to tease in print.
Fine....you don't like to be nudged.
I'll accept that as a correction and adhere to it.

People say this....People say that....
You listen long enough you hear people say everything.
By and large what people say isn't worth a big sweat.
This includes what I say to you.
This includes what you say to me.

You can delude yourself all you want....how much I boat/fish/hunt..
Ok by me.

Just meaningless words with no Data

Judd when I first read your posts I found them interesting, then I found them boring now when you attack my FRIENDS I find them offensive and I will no longer read them they just piss me off and I don't need that. You might be a great person but that's not how you come off in your posts. Have fun in your Make Believe World.

Sorry for the jack guys I'm done.

My god, feels like Highschool all over again.

Mickfish, you speak for yourselfl, no one else.
"...attack your friends..."....???....

Since when, does laughter at diet-resolutions....constitute that...!!!...???...

I've not met you, but I consider you friends.
No doubt of that.

You-all can make your own choice....if you feel there's a compelling need.
And that...............IS...............the issue...........
