Ken,

No, I will not accept that just yet. I am sure there is much more to learn about finesse bassing that what I know.  :smt005 I sure hope so.

I'm really looking forward to this seminar...

Hojoman, I'll bring my new Baidarka rod for you to inspect... hope to have my uber-bling reel installed too.

I don't think Hojoman has signed up for the seminar. But I have a feeling you meant to say compa.  :smt005
I have never seen a Baidarka. Looking forward to inspect that.

Since the focus, from what I understand, will be on senkos and such, I assume spinning reels are in order?  Or are small baitcasters approriate?

You'll have to excuse the dumb question, I have been using zebcos for senkos exlusively til I broke em all finally.
Yes, that is correct. I am partial to spinning setup for Senkos and light lures. I know others like to use baitcasters but for me spinners are better suited for the job. It is mainly because of how windy our lakes are in the bay area. I will get into that in the seminar.

Mooch

Will there a computer available for use in the room? I want to bring some pictures to show and tell.

Compa, actually, I did mean Hojoman, as he was recently lamenting that he wasn't able to find the Baidarka rods to inspect at the ISE.  Even if he's not signed up I'll still bring the rod... even though I bought the heaviest action in the Baidarka line to use for saltwater applications (7'6", 12-25lbs, 3/4-1/2oz.), I think you'll be able to see that there are some nice features that would also be present on a lighter action rod (in fact, I'm going to be purchasing another Baidarka for freshwater).

See you Saturday!

Not going to be able to make this.  :smt010  :smt013  :smt012  :smt011   The wife has to work meaning that I have baby duty.  Don't think my 9-month old daughter is ready to sit through a seminar.  :smt044

And because I'm not going, my buddy won't be attending either.  That means 2 spots just opened up.

Maybe I can pick the master's brain at another time.  Really bummed about this.

Sorry you can't make it Dilbeck. Yea, be sure to hit me up if we meet in the water sometime.

This cold rain may have slowed down the bite in all of out lakes in the bay area. So after the seminar, those that will join me  for some fishing will have a real test of what they have learned!  :smt003

So I think the best place to do this is at Anderson. We'll be at the picnic area in the South end of the lake.

When are you proposing the on-da-H2O clinic at Anderson?

I'll check with the Almighty, but it sound like a plan to me...

Mooch, we may need to-go boxes for the man-dogs...

If anyone wants to carpool from Aquan to Anderson (and back), I have a truck with room for an extra yak on the rack.

Yep. That was me. I haven't signed up (yet) because there is the possibility of having to be elsewhere on Saturday. If I do show, I'll bring some additional snacks.

See you guys there.  And I'm up for Anderson afterwards, too...  rain or shine, in sickness and in health, amen.

Hey Jamie,
What time do you expect to arrive at Anderson? I can't make the seminar but might be able to sneak out for a few hours of afternoon bassin.
Thanks,
PK

Hopefully before 2 pm. The park closes at 5:20 or so and we have to be out of the water by 4:40.

I will be there...probably get in around 9:30-10:00 in the morning.
Look for a float-tube yelling YEEEEEHAW ANOTHER ONE...and that's me.
I'll be just North (Right) of the picnic area and not very far out. You guys have compas' permission to "Borrow" on of his secret spots? Awesome!

He's taking you to the best chance of feeling what he will be covering, with the seminar, right now. Too bad it's not April!
