We will be able to tell a FAKE from a mile away or will it be inches away?   

 

I'm mostly worried about a trollish person claiming to win without a witness and thin evidence.  Imagine if skygreen claimed a winning sturgeon based on a photo of a tail next to a 61" mark on a tape...  Granted she piled up the posts, but like all trolls she stayed in the shadows and didn't come to our events.

  All in Good Fun... Right?

  I am up for a standard for measuring, 

  Looks like the AOTY will be much more active this coming year

 and I would like to get away from questioning on how a person determines length....

  Honestly,  In all my photos,  I may have not got the best shot, but when I had 2 hands on the fish and tape..,

 It is the length I said...


  I saw earlier That Bill and Scaw were looking into some sort of measuring device,

  Any progress with that...

Josh... I think you just established another rule.  

Rule #11 - No trolls will be allowed to enter the competition (if you don't know what a 'troll' is, it means you probably are one).

It depends...how much points-per-inch do trolls count for? LOL!

Yeah, they can come claim the prize.  It's a 50lb anchor and a pair of handcuffs at the end of a pier.
