Here's a link to a Steve Sinclair Force 10 video. At 1:06 it shows the carts used to wheel the kayaks.

Awesome paddling video!!  The only thing missing was trolling a swimbait.  :smt005 Ya, right! Not in those conditions.
Enjoying the fam

Normally I would be so down for this trip, but I have family in town on that date. I would definitely be interested in a later trip (or sooner?)

Joel “Mooch” paid Sinclair’s daughter like $20 to haul his yak up from the beach

Do you think using two beach carts would make it easier to pull uphill?

Interesting idea! I have two carts, too -- maybe one in front and one in back and maybe pushing the carts uphill might be easier than pulling. Worth a shot.

I remember that. Haha. It was the last Elk tourney. The hill's no joke. It's a hump to come back up. Stick to your lightest vessel for sure.

I tried 2 sets of Hobie beach wheels to haul my outback over the sand at Pacifica once. It wasn't really any easier and dealing with two sets of wheel was a hassle so I never did it again. Maybe up a hill it would be worth it. Let us know how it works.

The climb back up the hill took about 15 minutes with two adults pulling an extremely loaded MalibutwoXL, not including the slog across the deep sand.
What an epic beach! We had a half dozen kids that had an excellent beach day, and the two 10yr old girls got out for a quick fish with me and got a couple nice rockfish.
Launch had muir beach ish vibes, and I could see a bigger swell causing some problems.

Good memories of the Elk Tourney!
My Prowler with cart balanced in the middle and using the anchor trolley (The length was the distance from the bow to the side handle and back to the bow.)looped over my shoulder and torso got it up the hill loaded with fish and gear without excessive effort.  Dense fog came in quickly at times.  Cable-locked cart to some bushes at the beach.

Glad you guys got it done with much difficulty.  I am planning to experiment with several options, including using a body harness and two carts.

I like the body harness idea -- I think I'll try a rope tied to a old fishing vest.

I will take pictures and video this week.  It is similar to the photo below.
Also, I replaced the Hobie handle with a two-hand puller purchased from Amazon.com for $5 each.

You need something like this https://www.thang.co/ or engineer something like it. It looks super convenient, but comes with a hefty tag and doesnt look life a space saver. I was back and forth into getting a Hobie Lynx for its weight, but of course comes with some drawbacks. Im getting older and things arent as easy as they were.
