{RPT} Alabama Hills, Trona Pinnacle, Red Rock Canyon

On my way to Alabama Hills I noticed dozens and dozens of vehicles loaded up with camping gear so I was kind of stressing on whether or not I'd find a spot to camp. By the time I got there it was past 2:00PM so instead of driving around looking for a spot to camp inside the hills I hit up Tuttle Creek Campground, found a nice spot, and set up camp. I kept hearing a wild burro but I never did see it.

The tall peak in the background is Whitney Peak, the tallest peak in the lower 48.

On Day 3 I explored a bit of the hills. I was there for most of the day and was taking so many pictures that I only got to hit about half of the trails.

I left Alabama Hills in the late afternoon and was feeling kind of grimey, so I headed back to Ridgecrest to stay in a hotel so I could shower up and eat some good food. I ended up having dinner at Ale's Crab House and had some of the best fried shrimp tacos ever.

I got up early the next morning and shot out to Trona Pinnacles.
