Hey Jeff, I was fishing wiskey yesterday and thought I saw you drive past a couple times.

you can put the drive in backwards... it actually works pretty good for backtrolling and stuff... But, yes, the paddle is more important.

You know, I never even thought of that!  I'm gonna have to try that little experiment :)  Wouldn't be easy, but hey sounds like an option at least!

The first time I had my father out in a yak was on Father's Day and I rented him an OB.  I accidentally put the drive in backwards and he called me on the radio asking if I had somehow made a mistake because he thought it wasn't operating correctly.  I told him to just pedal and he would move forward.  After a few minutes, he called me again and said it still wasn't working so I begrudgingly made my way over to him and discovered that I had installed the drive backwards. :smt005   To this day he won't let me live it down.
