I haven't forgot the paddle (yet), but I have brought a mismatched set that didn't fit together.

That's rough, Jeff.  I bet you will never do that again.  Whenever you have a day like that, think of that day you had that place to yourself and nailed all of those stripers/lmb.  I am a forgetfull person, so it's only a matter of time 'till I do something similar.

RFID baby, just look at the screen and it lists all gear within 20' and tells you if you're missing anything.  Someday...

I forgot my wetsuit boots once on a sturgeon fishing trip.  It wasn't too bad until I had to slog back through thigh deep mud filled with sharp oyster shells.  Like red footprint sharp...

What we need is to barcode everything we need for fishing, and have a scanner hooked up to the ignition on our trucks... until you scan in everything as you load it, the truck wont start. ;)

live update. I had some pvc lengths in my car. Used my shimano tackle tray for paddle and electrical taped it all up. Limped over to my spot and began hooking up immediately with lmb. Its been wide open since i got here. I lost a decent striper right at the yak. Id say so far ive caught 15 to 18 lmb up to 2 pounds. They are just stacked here on this ledge. The current is starting to flow good now so its striper time! Hopefully. Ill update when i get the yak back on the car in 45 min.   jeff

Don't forget to put one on your Forehead  :smt002
I'm sure they will have one soon enough then you can scan the lure,FF,GPS eveytime you catch a fish then when you get home you can download your fishing journal.

DUUUUUUUDE!!  I am going to start calling you and Bryan the Delta Force.  Wind, no paddle, combat levee launches.  You guys aren't to be stopped.  All you need now is some camo face paint.   :smt067

I want to see that macguyver paddle more than the fish pics.  You have to post it, bro.

One time I had a funny feeling I left something really important.  I was halfway there when realized I don't have my seat. From then on I make sure all my stuff are ready the night before... but still forget stuff!!!! Little stuff anyways. I just can't get to perfection. Blame it on my excitement.

Stop at a store and buy the cheapest broom they have. Don't get the straw bristols. Nylon for sure. Walmart has one for $1.47. Believe me they definitely work in a pinch and when you get home you can sweep all the junk out of your car or truck.
