You do have me confused with the other Ken.  I have not been in a float tube in 7 or 8 yrs.  I got 3 sitting in my shed, still.

And, I do respect my friends.  Guys who fish with me and teach me their little methods.  It was not about cats at the forebay it was about a stripers lure and the way this guy fishes...period.

Also, had 3 guys from this board try to get me to tell the method of fishing for big cats at the forebay.  I can't.  The guy told me not to tell and I think I know why.  He lives in the central valley and that his only fishing spot.  How would you like it if everytime you go out someone is in your spot?

Have you ever wondered why the stripers do not get any larger in the forebay?  Over fishing.  Sure, there are some big ones.  But, they are far and few.

How can Mendo have 8 to 20 lbs..... because of less fishing pressure.  I seen boils of stripers up there and the largemouth bass guys just look and keep on casting to the brushpiles.

I been on this board since it open.  I met Bill at Half-Moon Bay for Rockcod and Lings.  Bill got 3 or 4 cabies when you could get that legally.  He talked about starting this board because we were using the Jim Sammon's board.  He thought why have a board based in San Deigo and so few poeple would know about it.

my 2 cents.  Also, I don't spell that well because everytime I use the spell checker...it locks up my laptop.

I know everybody's problems are!!!  You guys catch way too many fish!
you don't have to worry about this kinda stuff if you fish like I do...  I get skunk all the time & most of the fish I hook won't even make it to the yak.    I don't have anything to report, so I don't report much.   I've never caught 20 stripers a day...   If I can't release the dinks, minds well I should quite fishing (I caught 4 inch steelhead other day & it came off my hook)...
I'm just fishing not catching...
