Well shoot, I guess I don't have to worry about being alone on my first trip out in the salt!  To think just a couple weeks ago I thought there weren't many kayak fishermen in the bay area...

Adam, I suspect that Mooch and the crew will be there at 6:00 so look for the yak vehicles on the right side of the road after you pass Pescadero.  Park behind them off the highway and look for friendly faces.  You won't see mine because I usually don't get there until after 6:30.  Once you get there, start unloading and someone will help you carry your yak down the foot trail to the launch.  The paved parking lot is just south of where we park but it doesn't open until 8:00.  The portapotties are by the parking lot and they're open.  It takes me an hour and a half from Danville so I suspect the drive would take an hour for you.  For fishing spots, if Angel is going...follow Angel, he bagged a nice stringer of big fish last week.  Get that rookie magic going for you, otherwise stick with Mooch.

Cell phones don't work in that area for me so I wouldn't count on getting directions on the cell.

Tim, no donuts?  Just as well, we don't need greasy food if the swell is up.

Cool, BBQ grill, food and drinks.  Sounds like a party.

See you guys there,

Gary

There is a restaurant in Pescadero called Duartes. They make the BEST green chille soup in the world. My wife and I drive up there from Monterey just for the soup!
PS---Duartes also has a bar.

Good luck tomorrow!

Damn, theres a whole squad planning on showing up!  This is one of the few Saturdays I can fish without resistance (GF), so I'll see you all out there.

On a side note...  Have fun at the show, Ben.  I just heard the other day that if you bring a blank CD to a SCI show, they'll burn you a recording of the show off the board.   You probably already knew that, but I thought it was pretty sick of them to do that.
