Bean Hollow Sat 21st?

This time I took Bluekayaks advise and have a pile of butterspoon handles cut, drilled and rigged with stingers. Not as heavy as Id like, but super shiny and sticky sharp.And some asorted hand tools as well...
That reef that jtf showed me last year was in close to 100 feet I think. It runs in line with that rocky point just to the north, at a 45 to the shore, but I think we should all just follow da mooch.

The family is gone and dad is going fishing  .  I think I will make the drive  to join you guys as I have never fished at bean.  I will try for 6-6:30. Ch 69 on the water.

Is this the launch spot? Just curious.

I think someone needs to volunteer to go out there and direct traffic. 

I have a need for RF so I may just take the walk down to the Hollow and get me some.

I've got a play to see tonight, but I'll be shooting for getting to the hollow at about 6am. My backup plan will be either Davenport or closer to Santa Cruz.
As long as the winds stay down in the AM things look good on the virtual front.

Ah. Its not too bad Etienne. I've done that drive many times. I've noticed that the fish are a bit bigger at BH but there is more variety in Monterey/Carmel.

I'd rather stick to cooking something easier - especially after a day of paddling  Besides, I don't think they have running water by the picnic grounds.

Just remember to bring lot's of ice to keep your fish cool if you plan to hang out after fishing - there are no grocery stores nearby.

Cell phone coverage is poor at the Hollow - just a reminder.
