Everytime time I land without a salmon, I always swear that no more salmon fishing cuz it sux!  Then I saw a report of limits the next day, then planning for the next trip starts again ...

       Don't ever tell me I might be right,  my head is already to swollen.

"The surf run is shorter than Linda Mar.  Wheel your yak to the south end, it's not nearby (think HMB at lowest tide and more).  My guess is garyjwebb is right, good 8 out of 10, but for the 2, you don't want to attempt it."
