I just got back from Monterey great lunch w/ sackyak, Pat and Randy. great food, good people, fantastic weather. Thanks for the company guy's. Made a run to bait store by San Leandro Marina. I have chovies and squid so it looks like were loaded for bear as far as bait. I also ran to orchard supply for SS hardare. I will be getting to the Gate early to do some last minut mounting. I think theres a street light at pier to work under. we stayed in Monterey a little to long and  don't have an area to work on the riggs here. See ya there.  Randall

Duane, sorry I didn't know you were going to make bait for the troops, I would have come out and we could have had dueling nets.  If we cast on both sides of the bridge they wouldn't have any place to go.  Anyway, I'll take you up on your offer for bait...you're the master baiter and more importantly your bait catch big fish!

John, what's a gobie?  I'd like to try one of those too.  Sounds like we need to do a survey.  What works best on what fish?

We got to save some for the "Mooch", he needs to live up to his name.

Troy, thanks for picking up the sun blocker, I haven't seen them around.

A gobie is like a mudsucker.  According to the Cunang Brothers, there slime is glow in the dark for stripers and other fish.  I've also heard that sturgeon like them too.  I have plenty to go around , so we can all give them a try and see how they work.
