That method works better w/heavy mono. But I've had it slip when using lighter line.

Got a question for you kokanee experts.

What size sling blades do most of you guys run from the kayak...size 3 or 4?  Any preference over the other?

So for straight hoochie, I understand shorter (6-8") leader is recommended, but what about when running a lure with its own action, like wiggle hoochies, apex, or spinners?  Would something like 24" behind dodger sound right or do you just run these without dodgers?

I generally run behind dodgers since I don't feel like taking the dodger off all the time.  I run spinners 18-24" behind the dodger.

I don't use apex behind dodgers personally.  But I rarely run apex anyways.

I really only fish hoochies and spinners.

Sling Blades - I run the smaller size.  I don't know if it makes much difference but its just less cumbersome.

Right on...thanks Ben.
