Oh it's open to boats & kayaks. I called today. Its a $5 launch fee and $5 inspection fee. They are paying .25 per pound but not whole fish weight, just the head...at least thats what she implied. And they still prohibit alcohol.
There's gonna be hella carp guts strewn all over the park LOL I can see it now.
I gotta be honest--this place isn't really NCKA event material. I can say without a doubt, it's the shittiest lake I ever been to; much less fished. And I'm talking abou the scenic & location value here, when I refer to t as shitty. The bass fishing can be ok, but the water's still gross. Hahaha and that's comin from a guy who kayaks the Salinas & Pajaro Rivers!

Al, I thought you were talkin about Parkway. Whats up with that place? Looks rundown & closed.

I've tried to launch there twice now...      Either way, they don't make it easy.

If they were PAYING 10 dollars to launch, I wouldn't go there again.   :smt012

So how many Carps we need to catch in order to break even if they only weight the fish head?  :smt003

For those of you that fish Coyote Lake, you guys might remember 2 years back when there was that massive carp die off due to some type of herpes virus.  From what they said, it only affected carp and thousands were killed.

The few times I fished there during that period, I literally saw tons of them floating everywhere.  Sounds like Pinto carp need to get some herpes too.   :smt044
