Tad,
Much love and peace to you and your family through this time and forever on.  I lost my parents years ago, but have never forgotten their lessons, including their passing.  Thank you for sharing your story and reminding us all that family and love are the most important things in life and all that we have.  I know I'll be hugging my wife and kids tighter and longer tonight.
Condolences, love and peace to you brother,
Rob

Tad,
You are certainly a stand up guy and one hell of a son. Know that you made your dad proud to the very end.
Our deepest condolences.

Thanks all for the kind words and moral support.
I'm starting to hate November, lost mom and dad both in this month 6 years apart.
I have not yakked or fished since this whole episode began, time to get back to it.

Have a great holiday,
Tad

So sorry to hear, lost my Pop 3years ago on Black friday. He laughed and said it was a good joke to leave us with. Peace to you and you family. Sunday some of us will be playing at the port of sacramento. Fishing and if needed talking. Can tell you some things I've experianced that might help. Be strong and reach out if you need support. Love to you and yours
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

This is a tough followup to how you started this chapter out, Tad, but I'm thankful that you shared it with us and that you and your family were able to pull together to be close to your Dad.  He had a great life and wonderful family who loved him and each other - you guys should be very proud of how you supported him and each other through this challenging time.  Be well, Buddy, and keep in touch with your NCKA family.  Looking forward to spending time with you next May.   :smt001
