MBK Derby 2022 Registration Now Open!

Just for clarity. Are fishing gaffs allowed in the derby?

I anyone interested in booking at the Monterey Tides Hotel. I know the owner and can block out a bunch of rooms at a discounted rate. Just need to know if people are interested in that. Since this year will be a much larger event you can always drop off all of your gear and kayak the day before at the shop so it is ready to go in the morning

Checked in with Adam today.  all set for the Derby next weekend.  I'll be weighmasterand get to fish for a couple hours maybe. Adam told me the majorty of entries are 'non-ncka.' Make sure to put the word out bout our club when you talk to people there.  Best better, WIN the damn thing and bask i the glory!  "I owe it all to Bushy, my makeup artist and NCKA....."

I’m set for Saturday but may hit Friday as well. Are squid still in Monterey? Mackerel?

   Went out yesterday, didn’t find squid but heard some was there. I did find this monsta’. Will be hunting for it’s big brother next weekend!
