As some of you may now know, our time in the Cove has come to an end. It was a great life here for the past 7 years, but the owner has decided to sell the Inn and unfortunately the new owners want to run it remotely without on site management.
Verna and I have work available in the San Jose area, but it has been difficult at best for us to find housing. We even though of living out of our (new to us) travel trailer while we find someplace, But keep running into issues.
If anyone has a rental or ??? For a not so older couple with a senior mid size dog, please let us know.
Thanks for reading

Sorry to learn about your situation.   Will keep my ears and eyes open for any housings opportunities in San Jose area.

This is a sad day for the kayak fishing community at Shelter Cove and for NCKA.  You two have been ambassadors and wonderful hosts for so many of us who enjoy this sport and who have visited the Cove.

Best of luck to you both, and I look forward to fishing with you again, my friend.   :smt001

Damn, sorry to hear that Eric and Verna.  If anything comes up that I hear about I'll be sure to let you know!  Life will still be good, I'll look forward to seeing you more often than once a year or less.

Sorry to hear that, Eric. I was hoping I would get to be your guest at the Inn at some point. On the bright side, it sounds like I might get fish with you down here.

A sad day for Shelter Cove. Bought my first kayak from you while you worked in Fresno at the tackle shop. Then you sponsored me at the  tournament at Shelter cove. Sorry to see you leave. Hope to see you again. Best of luck in your next journey.

Good luck and happy times on your move Eric.  My wife and I immensely enjoyed our stays at the Inn with you and Verna as hosts.
While I do hope Alex continues to look for places for you to move to in the San Jose area I also hope he puts his eye back in  :smt003

Thank you Eric and Verna for your hospitality, I really enjoyed visiting with you both on my stays at the Tides.

Thanks for your work in town as well - to help make improvements for fishers and locals. Best wishes in your new chapter!

Just saw this, sorry to hear your story is ending at the cove.  San jose area can be expensive, but keep some option outside of san jose. Morgan hill and gilroy are great place to life. North or south san jose can be more affordable as well.  If you are not familiar with san jose, it is much more populous than the cove, maybe by 100 times.  PM me if I can help with info or anything.   I live in san jose.

Oh dang, that sucks!
But my old college roomate just bought this place and will need a property manager, if you want to stay at the cove.
