On Thursday 12/16, 6:00pm, Location TBD…..I will be out on the town celebrating the holidays with dinner, libations and white elephanting.

If any of my fish killin, beer drinkin, present swappin brothers and sisters want to join in the reindeer games…..perhaps you too can be at the same place and time.  Please use some common sense, if you’re high-risk, averse to dining amongst crowds or generally engaging with the unwashed masses, then join the officially sanctioned hoedown zoom party (thread to follow shortly).

A couple of notes.

I happen to be in the vicinity of the Blue Chip last Friday night….building was closed to public.  Not sure if it was because it was around midnight and just closed or the place shut down.  I’m looking for alternative locations: breweries, pizza joints, bars, whatever.  If you have any suggestions please let me know.

The Annual CDM recurring gift.  The last gaff I built needed some improvements so I ordered up stuff to build a new one and parts are still en route. Completion time is up in the air, but we will still draw a recipient……it will be worth the wait.

I'm down for whatever, although I do think an outdoor setting would be a good idea but not really a deal breaker for me.  San Pedro Square is all that comes to my mind, as I don't get out that often.

RWC isn't in the south bay  :smt002

I would swim across a poo-ridden lagoon to hang out with artie & co, so hopefully we can rally up.

would it be out of the question to rally up at one of these whole in the wall mom-n-pop joints that CDM loved discovering?

Always nice to see the raw sewage warning signs get put up right after you exit the water  :smt044

CDM and I had lunch at the Costa Alegre and they just opened a second location.  New place has  lot of space and has been relatively slow when I pass by.  There menu is killer, all kinds of seafood dishes…..the only issue I see is that we all show up at different times and order separately, might not jive with their service.  Let me stop by and talk to the manager to see what we can work out.  If not there, then I was thinking along the same lines as Al, San Pedro Square would be fitting.

Would be helpful to know who’s in if we go to an actual restaurant.

Have fun er'body. Wifey and I are taking off to SD for four days without the kids on Sunday, so I'd feel kinda bad bailing on them tonight. Plus I gotta work early tomorrow.
