I want to go crabbing but cant find a good source to buy ambush hoops (conical) if someone can point me where to get them for under $100. Went to Dicks all I could utter was Geebuz Christ! Let me know. Thanks in advance.

Go watch Fishing247's youtube channel. I've made 2 hoop nets so far. Hardest part is finding netting. You can use a torn castnet as a last resort. I used left over netting that I had for keeping predators out of my 300 gallon koi pond. Bending rebar wasn't as difficult as I imagined....

I just welded mine up.  Deciding if I want to rubber wrap or powdercoat them... some say a rusty pot fishes better which is an argument for rubber. powder would look nice though
