Hey Jason, Thats ordering from Australia. I tried it out when I was shopping for their transducer cover. Shipping was over $50 and it takes weeks to get to the USA.

Cleaned it with acetone and then used a lot of lexel caulk

I think this is the same guy showing his technique. This would work on any hull pvc is super easy to work with.

I recently got my Revo 13 and after I scratched the keel I tried the PVC pipe method and found that it was quite difficult to work with since it was so thick. 

while the PCV solution worked,  it came off when the keel it the floor at a  certain angle.  I believe this happened because the PVC was too hard and had no give when the keel hit the ground.  The other possible reason was that the industrial strength  3M tape was still not strong enough to hold it in place.

I tried using a clear pipe and that was easier to work with and it is softer and has a bouncy feel and so far it has held on even after I dragged it across the tarmac last week.  Need to do a some surf landings to confirm if it really works.

If I had to do it all over I would probably try JB weld first as some members here have done.

I did the pvc one and gotta day, it’s bulletproof. I just heated up a rectangle piece of pvc until it was super super soft. Layed it on the nose so it Formed like melted cheese then cooled it down. Once it hardened I then cut and grind the shape that I wanted. Gorilla double sided tape then scilicone the outer edges so water can’t get to the tape. Been on for 2 years now. Just have to touch up the paint once in awhile. Way cheaper and stronger I think.

I think the berlypro guard is too short in length and also expensive.

Aside from using the pvc pipe way, you can also use pvc kydex sheets .093 that can easily form into any shape when a heat gun is applied. You can make a nice keel guard this way and then use 3M double sided marine grade tape to attach it.

Ark - that actually looks to be a good solution.  it looks easy to manipulate.
