Hi guys, my name is Zach and I'm new to kayak fishing. Have been fishing my whole life but finally made the investment in a kayak. Looking for some people to share info with and learn about the sport from as well as partners for the big blue. Planning on going out of the Sonoma coast for the first time for rockfish on Friday, if anybody has any tips or spots with easy access I'm all ears. Looking forward to talking with you all!

Welcome to NCKA TOAF.  If you haven't done so already, I would check out the "Safety First" section of the forum for some great tips.   :smt006

Hey, hows it going.  I'm new to Kayak fishing the same as you. Unfortunately I don't have anyone near me that's into it.  I'm looking for someone to fish with for safety reasons on the 6th and 7th.  I'd like to go up the coast a bit, drop some crab pots and rock fish.  If you're interested PM me.

Thanks

Right on, welcome to the madness! I saw your user name and thought for a second it was my buddy Darren, who is a one-handed kayak angler too. He’s a great dude and might have some tips/advice for other folks who are learning to to paddle with one arm. :-)  https://instagram.com/onehanded_angler?igshid=1sqyb7f81vnvt
