Cruising along at 5 mph, halfway to the fishing grounds. Campgrounds are closed, so launching from the pavilion closer to the grounds was not an option. Getting my workout instead!

Updates to follow, happy Fourth of July weekend NCKA, recreate safely out there!

Final score:
Stripers caught...none!

Trolled all the way to the last bay before the rock wall (up the river arm). Estimated distance from launch, about 4.5 miles. Loads of people back at the ramp when I returned. Happy to be on the road home by 10:30 and avoiding the big crowds on the coast and at a few other more popular lakes. I must’ve seen 50 boats working an area the size of a football field on the south end of lake Pardee as I was driving the dam road.

Tried 20’-30’. No cone flasher this time since I have the rig that was catching last time to my pops who lives 25 mins from the lake. No takers on clear or blue caps. They let about a foot and a half of water out of the lake since last weekend, in a lake that shallow, I think it stirred up the bottom sediments and shut the bite down. Nobody was catching today from what I gathered.

Tight lines everyone, it’s all bbq’s, beer, and little ones running around the yard for the rest of the weekend for me!

I’ve gone just about as far back as you can up the river arm. Fish finder screen has been lit up, lots of bait and followers, but nothin to show for it yet.

If you hit the coast, I’m sure it was a zoo. Santa Cruz would be your neck of the woods right? Hope you enjoy the rest of yo ur weekend

Thanks for the report again! Have you tried procure? It could help get those followers to commit.

I have it, but never thought I would need to add it to anchovy popsicle, those thing stink something fierce! Seriously though, should I try procure on bait?

Maybe I’ll try it if I ever get out to MBay and take you up on your offer to go Salmon fishing (which sounds great btw).
