I saw two people surfboard-fishing the north side of Shelter Cove, they were headed towards Pedro Point.. seems like a terrible idea haha.

^^^ This ^^^   What I heard is that it was dead, one salmon from a yakker, the rest of the fleet has nothing to show for.

Yeah was about 13-15 ft from what I heard from talking with other folks on the water.  we all agree its the same one we see off rockaway pretty regularly. I think Darius might have even gotten a pic of it last year.

Last year there were a few hanging around Rockaway right past the breakers.  There was some pretty good drone footage of them.

There have been a bunch down here near the Seacliff/Sunset/Rio del Mar stretch of beach. Many are juveniles. One killed a surfer off Sunset beach last week. No sightings I have heard past Pleasure Point though.

There have been a lot more seals in the area recently. The theory going around is that they have been hanging around the cement ship at Seacliff. Storms over the past few winters have broken it up into perfect "rocks" for them to sunbathe on.

No, Ironman and lots of other races are held at and around the wharf.  Raced plenty times there also.  At least if it goes down, EMS is much closer  :smt005
