Hello! Newbie eager to get out on the water...

 

Hey there team,

Vincent here! Lifelong kayaker, beginner angler out of North Oakland. Originally from NYC where I'd fish along the Jersey Shore. My experience Kayak fishing is limited to my bachelor party where I hooked up with Spike from kayakfishing.com and caught a bunch of rockfish. It was a blast.

I'm expecting a baby in a month, so my expeditions may be limited but I'm interested in:

-finding kayakfishing buddies to head out with...free snacks for co-yakkers (I started Dang, a healthy asian snack brand).
-buying a used revo, or other pedal-driven 'yak along with Prius rack.
-buying a rod/reel and some other gear to get started.

Can't find a good fishing photo but here's me when I still had ups. Looking forward to meeting some of ya soon.

rockfishing is my favorite pass time lately. I can't wait to get on the water too Land locked in Santa Clara county is driving me nuts.
